Fine Art Resume

Suzanne Dalton’s formal art training was in fine art – painting. She studied loom weaving techniques with a master weaver, worked as an apprentice in a professional weaving studio, then opened her own studio specializing in large-scale site-specified fiber sculpture commissions. Ms. Dalton is a nationally recognized fiber artist represented throughout the U.S. and Mexico. During her career, the G.S.A. “Art in Architecture Program,” Washington DC, ranked her in the top 2% of large-scale fiber commission artists in the country resulting in numerous award and grant commissions. She also collaborated on a series of sculptures with her artist husband, Clyde Foles.
